Viola GEVOCK

Viola Rosalie GEVOCK, 77, of 1209 Avenue F, Fort Madison, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 1989, at her home.

Born Sept. 13, 1911, in Brighton, she was the daughter of George and Theresa DRISH. She married Frank Lawrence GEVOCK May 2, 1931, in Washington. He died in 1961.

She had been a resident of Fort Madison since 1970. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Joyce A. LAKE, Fort Madison; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call today until 5 p.m. at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.

A private service for Mrs. GEVOCK will be 5 p.m. today at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison, with the Rev. Robert McAleer officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, East Pleasant Plain.
