WASHINGTON

Dorothy C. GEVOCK, 83, of Washington, died Tuesday at the Washington Care Center following a sudden illness.

Survivors include one son, Nick GEVOCK of Washington; three daughters, Viola LAUDERDALE of Cedar Rapids, Doris WEST of Albuquerque, N.M., and Kathy HACKERT of Center Point; one sister, Luce SCHEONFELDER of Bettendorf; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial: St. Joseph's Cemetery at East Pleasant Plain. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at Eden's, where visitation begins at noon today.
