Illness Fatal To Frank GEVOCK, 58

PLEASANT PLAIN, Ia. -- Frank GEVOCK, 58, Jefferson county farmer, died Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. at the Washington County hospital. Death was caused by a cerebral hemmorhage.

GEVOCK entered the hospital April 19. He resided on a farm north of Pleasant Plain, moving there in 1944.

Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph church at East Pleasant Plain in charge of the Rev. H. B. Geers. The Rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. at the Gould Funeral home in Brighton. The Knights of Columbus Rosary will follow.

GEVOCK was born May 13, 1902 in Jefferson county, the son of Nick and Agget MAJESKI GEVOCK. He was married to Viola DRISH May 2, 1931. He was a member of St. Joseph church and a Third and Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his wife and one daughter, Joyce Ann. Also surviving are three brothers, Alex GEVOCK, Washington; Tom GEVOCK, Muscatine; and Adam GEVOCK of California. His parents and six brothers preceded him in death.
