Caroline B. KELLY, age 76, of Keosauqua, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018, at Van Buren County Hospital.

Caroline Barbara KELLY, age 76, of Keosauqua, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018, at Van Buren County Hospital.

Per her request she will be cremated. There will not be any visitation or service at this time. Burial will be at a later date in Fellows Cemetery, Keosauqua,IA.

Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to 838 Country Lane Road, Keosauqua, IA 52565.

Caroline was born March 4, 1942, in Milton, IA to Gerald "Sparky" and Josephine (CASSETT) HOUSE. She married Richard HIMES in 1957. He passed away in 1982. On November 7, 1987, she married Vincent Donald KELLY.

Caroline worked at Hotel Manning as a cook and cleaned houses. She enjoyed feeding and watching the squirrels and birds (humming birds). Caroline's interests were watching NASCAR, word search puzzles, taking care of her house plants, traveling and gambling at Catfish Bend or Riverside. Most mportant to Caroline was spending time with her family & friends.

Left to share Caroline's memories are her husband, Vincent KELLY of Keosauqua; 3 children, Peggy (Jim) CHAMBERS of Keosauqua, Gerald (Bev) HIMES and Jeffrey (Karen) HIMES both of Douds; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 3 siblings, Bill (Coleen) HOUSE of Marshalltown, Sandra (Jerry) REESE of Memphis, MO and Janet (Herman) HOLTON of Downing, MO

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Richard HIMES; son, Ricky HIMES; daughter-in-law, Debbie HIMES; granddaughter, Brandy HIMES; and two brothers, Jr. and Bobby HOUSE.
