Thomas Henry FUQUA was born at Pleasant Plain August 26th, 1874, and died at that place June 26 from tuberculosis. His mother preceded him in death May 29th, 1902. He is survived by an aged father, a sister, Mrs. Wm CARSE of Salina, and three brothers -- Scott S., a twin brother of Fairfield, Frank of Pleasant Plain, and Charles of Spokane, Wash. He was a patient sufferer throughout his illness. The funeral was held the 3d inst. at 3 o'clock at the home of his brother in Pleasant Plain, conducted by Rev. Hammond, pastor of the Friends church. The body was laid to rest in the family lot in the Friends' cemetery (note: Pleasant Plain Friends Cemetery).
