With retirement came the opportunity for Lois and Robert to spend time sharing their love for camping. They were members of the National Campers and Hikers Association, as well as the Fairfield "Weakenders" and enjoyed traveling south for the winters.
Lois was also a past member of the Eastern Star and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed lunches with the Red Hat lady's (sic), playing cards and Bingo at the Senior Citizen Center and always looked forward to her Friday nights spent playing cards with her South Gate friends.
