JOHN RONAN, a resident of Jefferson County for 17 years past, died at his home in Whitfield on the 6th ult., after six months’ illness from malarial fever. Deceased was born in County Galway, Ireland, his age was 48 years and he had been in this country 30 years. He leaves a wife and seven children, the eldest of which is 20. Remains interred in this city.
