Frank RIVEY Rites Friday

LOCKRIDGE -- Frank RIVEY, 80, retired Lockridge farmer, died at 6 a.m. today at the Jefferson County hospital. He had been ill since last fall.

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield in charge of the Rev. Robert McElderry. Burial will be in the Lockridge cemetery.

RIVEY was born Jan. 3, 1886 south of Lockridge, the son of Peter and Amelia DROZ RIVEY. He was married to Ethel GREESON Dec. 25, 1917. He had been a resident of Lockridge for the past 15 years.

Surviving are his widow and three children: Frank W. RIVEY, Ottumwa; Mrs. Francies (sic) LANGLAND, Wichita, Kan.; and Mrs. Charles E. COOK, Des Moines.

Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Kathryn DENNY, New London; Mrs. Stella JOHNSON and Mrs. Lucille GRAF, both of Lockridge. Two brothers and seven sisters are deceased.
