MRS. C. GRABER DIES TODAY NEAR BRIGHTON

Funeral services planned for Thursday afternoon, 2 p.m.

Mrs. Chris GRABER, 70 (sic - 80), life-long resident of Jefferson county, passed away at 6 o'clock this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. E. A. SMITH, five miles south of Brighton. Mrs. GRABER had been seriously ill for the past two weeks.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Hoskins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lockridge cemetery.

Mrs. Victoria Jane GRABER was born near Glasgow on March 21, 1860. In 1881 she was united in marriage to Chris GRABER. For 23 years they resided on a farm one mile south of Fairfield.

Surviving are her husband, Chris GRABER; seven children, Mrs. Herman RAUSCHER of Fairfield; Mrs. Linda McLAUGHLIN of Kansas City; Mrs. James ETRICK (sic - DETRICK) of Burlington; Jessie GRABER of Lakewood, Ohio; and Harry GRABER of Memphis, Mo. and Eugene GRABER of Davenport. and Mrs. E. A. SMITH.

Surviving also are 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. John GRABER of Denver, Colo. One daughter, Mrs. P. J. SHERLOCK, passed away in 1918.
