Donna M. BOLING, 84, of Batavia, IA passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Sunnybrook Living Care Center in Fairfield, IA. As were her wishes, her body has been cremated with a private family burial to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to the family. Donna M. BOLING was born November 17, 1932 in Batavia, IA to Raymond and Willma "FITE" CREEK. She grew up and attended school in Batavia, graduating with the Batavia High School Class of 1950. On October 6, 1951, she was united in marriage to Glen Alfred BOLING. Donna and Glen became the proud parents of three children: Gary, Kerry, and Jamie. The gift of being a mother was something that Donna didn't take lightly. She worked hard at home and on the farm to keep things in order and provide for the family. When Donna had some time to herself, she liked to spread out a jigsaw puzzle on the table and spend some quiet time putting it back together. There was nothing that gave Donna more pleasure than spending time with her family. As time passed, and she became a grandmother and great grandmother, the next generations were able to experience the love that she had to offer. She will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen BOLING and one son, Gary BOLING.

Left to honor her memory are her two children, Kerry (Sue) BOLING of Batavia, IA and Jamie (Larry) PARKER of Batavia, IA; three grandchildren, Kristin (Josh) BOLING, Brandi (Kelvin) PARKER, and Eric PARKER; seven great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Hailey, Airana, Matea, Selvin, Alanna, and Aidyn; one brother, Robert (Shirley) CREEK of Batavia, as well as many extended family and friends.
