Services today for Charles BARKER

OTTUMWA - Services were held today at Reece Funeral Home for Charles Ray BAKER, 75, 1019 S. Hancock, who died Thursday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City.

The Rev. A.D. Pringle officiated at the service. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

He was born March 27, 1912 in Fairfield to Thurman C. and Gladys L. BARKER BAKER. A resident of Ottumwa most of his life, he had been an employee of Sunnyslope Care Center. He was a member of the Ottumwa Baptist Temple and had served in World War II with the army.

He married Eva WEILBRENNER Oct. 12, 1957 in Ottumwa. He is survived by his wife and two sisters: Mildred HUMESTON, Ottumwa; Ruth SPEAK, Sonoma, Calif.
