Gerald KENNING

BATAVIA - Gerald D. KENNING, 43, died Thursday at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

He was born Nov. 21, 1944, in Ottumwa, the son of Theodore and Marjorie PUFFENBARGER KENNING.

He was a self-employed truck driver and lived most of his life in the Batavia community.

He was married to Connie HUMSTON on Dec. 23, 1967. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Debbie, and one son, Robbie, both at home. A brother, Kenneth, Blytheville, Ark., and his mother, Marjorie REYNOLDS, Ottumwa, also survive.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating.

Burial will be in the Batavia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
