Beverly "Bev" Joyce BROBSTON

Beverly "Bev" Joyce BROBSTON, age 79, of Fairfield passed away July 8, 2017, at Parkview Care Center.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday July 13, 2017, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor John Kermott officiating. Burial will be at Fell Cemetery, Libertyville Iowa.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday July 12, 017, (sic) at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to Parkview activity fund. Cards and memorials can be sent to Carol "Slim" BROBSTON, 604 West Kirkwood Ave., Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Beverly was born August 27, 1937, to Paul Larry and Edith Elaine (HENRY) CALHOUN in West Point, Iowa. She married Carol "Slim" Edward BROBSTON on July 19, 1960.

Bev was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. She was a quilter for over 10 years at Universal producing. Bev had many interests and hobbies which included different bowling leagues, flower gardening, collecting dolls, jig saw puzzles, bird watching especially cardinals, and NASCAR. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Eagles Lodge (sic - Aerie/Club). Bev's favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, children and grandchildren, and friends alike.

Bev is survived by her husband, Carol "Slim" BROBSTON of Fairfield; her children, Paul "Tom" (Kathy) BAKER of Fairfield, IA, Diana (Kevin) MORRIS of Clinton, IA., Renee (Jeff) BURTLOW of Delta, IA; 6 grandchildren, Sean (Jacque) BAKER, Brad (Amy) BAKER, Kaitlin MORRIS, Ashley MORRIS, Tyler BURTLOW, and Emily (Zach) SHIELDS; 4 great grandchildren, Kyler ROGERS, Brayden BAKER, Grant BAKER and Sawyer SHIELDS; and one sister, Shirley LANGEL of Mt. Pleasant, IA.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Edith CALHOUN; two sons David, and Darrell BROBSTON; and 4 sisters, Donna SMART, Jackie SMART, Luella HAGANS, Janet WILLIAMS.
