Laura Ann Edgeton, 46, of Altoona, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, at Pella Medical Center from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Rising Sun Church of Christ in Rising Sun. Burial will be in Powers Warren Cemetery in Runnels.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at the church.

Memorials can be made to Rising Sun Church of Christ.

Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Edgeton was born Nov. 22, 1958 in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn Van Dyke. She married Tom Edgeton Aug. 15, 1981, at United Methodist Church in Prairie City.

She graduated from Prairie High School, Central College and received a masters degree from Drake University.

She worked as a computer programmer for Chubb Insurance Co.

Mrs. Edgeton was an active member of Rising Sun Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, David and Ryan Edgeton of Altoona; one sister, Sheryl and husband Paul Steenhoek of Pella; her parents of Pella. She was the daughter-in-law of James and Marilynn Edgeton of Fairfield.
