Timothy Diedrich NELSON

Timothy Diedrich NELSON, age 26, of Stockport died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the University Hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

Tim was born June 24, 1991 in Ottumwa the son of Frank Diedrich and Lori Ann WIGGINS NELSON. He graduated from Van Buren High School in 2010.

Tim was a life insurance agent, and had worked as a welder/manufacturer for Schaus-Vorhies Manufacturing Company and as a driver for Billion Auto.

He was a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church and the Stockport Fire Department.

Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, camping with family, going to rodeos, and spending time with family and friends.

Deceased family members include his maternal grandmother, and paternal grandfather.

Surviving are his parents, 2 sisters Elizabeth (Rick) ELAND of Fairfield, Gloria NELSON of Stockport, and brother Ryan NELSON of Stockport. 2 nieces: Madison and Whitley ELAND, and grandparents: Helen NELSON and Mark (Gerri) WIGGINS. He was a loving father to Cadence BOATWRIGHT.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the Stockport United Methodist Church with Pastors Herb Shafer and John Griffith.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham.

Interment will be in the Spencer Cemetery, northeast of Stockport (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Honors will be provided by the Southeast Iowa Regional Fire Honor Guard.

Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham.
