Lindsey Dawn CONGER SHIELDS, 36, of Hedrick, died Saturday, April 29, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lake Belva Deer Shelter No. 3, Sigourney, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Following the service, a luncheon is planned at Prairie View United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be an hour before the service.

Mrs. SHIELDS was born March 14, 1981, to Dale Leroy and Kathryn Lee CRISSEY CONGER. She married Ryan James SHIELDS Feb. 24, 2017.
She lived in Kekokuk County all her life.
Mrs. SHIELDS's pastimes included gardening, shopping, decorating and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: her husband; children, Lathan Michael HAMM of Ottumwa, Jenna Marie FOLLMAN of Sigourney and Jase James YORK of Hedrick; her parents, Dale (Kathy PEARCE REID) CONGER of Martinsburg, and Kathryn (Brian INGLE) CONGER of Hedrick; brother, Jeremiah CONGER of Ollie; sister, Lily CONGER of Martinsburg; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Jackie and Colton INGLE of Fairfield, Allison PEARCE of Kentucky, and Jordan REID of South Carolina; and grandparents, Sharon CRISSEY of Ottumwa and Harlan (Lamay) CRISSEY of Volin, South Dakota.
