Shirley J. DIMOND

Shirley J. DIMOND, 73, formerly of Fairfield, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant (note: in Henry Co., IA).

The body has been cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Fell Cemetery.

Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting with arrangements.

Mrs. DIMOND was born Jan. 16, 1943, the daughter of Richard and Mary CRAWFORD SHANSTROM.

She was a homemaker. She has lived in the Fairfield area all her life except for the last five years when she has lived in Mt. Pleasant.

Survivors include: one son, Brian SHANSTROM of Pella; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gayle SHANSTROM of Cedar Rapids and Gifford SHANSTROM of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter; and one brother, Gary SHANSTROM.
