Clinton Anthony 'Tony' SHIELDS Sr.

Clinton Anthony "Tony" SHIELDS Sr., 67, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2016.

A family dinner will be held at noon Tuesday at Batavia Community Center in Batavia.

Cards and memorials can be sent to Kelly SHIELDS c/o Clinton SHIELDS 1101 W. Spaulding Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. SHIELDS was born May 25, 1949.

He had a passion for life, loved his family and was a friend to everyone. He loved engaging conversations. He gave selflessly and helped his family, friends and neighbors without hesitation.

Survivors include: five children, Ann MARROW, Wendy SHIELDS, Kelly SHIELDS, Kim BUGBEE, and Adam SHIELDS; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his mother, Clara SWIHART; two sisters, Joyce PERKINS, Teena RONSH; and two brothers, Lary WILSON and Bill SHIELDS.

He was preceded in death by: one son, Clinton SHIELDS Jr.; one brother, Matthew CHRISTOFER and two sisters, Rita MONTZ and Sheryl SMITH.
