Dorothy PEEBLER

OTTUMWA -- Dorothy Mae PEEBLER, 85, of the Ottumwa Manor, died Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

Dorothy was born December 14, 1919 in Batavia to Wayne and Elsie LITTLEFIELD PEEBLER.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Libertyville. Dorothy also enjoyed traveling, gardening, her home, and just life in general.

Dorothy is survived by two sisters, Doris THRASHER of Fairfield and Nora HICKS of O'Fallon, Mo.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Shirley LUTHER; and one brother, Gene PEEBLER.

Visitation will begin Friday at 12 noon, September 30, 2005, at the Johnson Funeral Chapel with family present from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2005, at the Johnson Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Gordon Oliver officiating. Burial will be in the Brethren Cemetery south of Batavia.

The Johnson Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Brethren Church.
