DEATH OF MISS MARGARET JACOBSON.

Friday our community was startled by the sad and unexpected announcement of the death of one of our brightest and most intelligent young women, who had seemed to be in the best of health. Miss Mary JACOBSON died at her home, near the Dunkard church. Thursday night, Feb. 27th. She belonged to the Methodist church and was a faithful member. The funeral was held at the Dunkard church Sunday, March 1st, at ten o'clock, Rev. Mr. Wolf officiating. A large concourse of friends assembled to show that the departed had been held in the highest esteem. Deceased was eighteen years old. The remains were laid at rest in the Dunkard cemetery. We are sorry to miss her smiling face from among our circle, but she has joined a higher circle and one that is always bright. Miss JACOBSON was in the best of health until the evening of the day of her death. This devoted family can nevermore all assemble on earth, but they can prepare to meet in heaven, where parting is not known.

Dear daughter, sister, though we part,
With blinding tears and breaking heart,
We will try to live to meet above,
And joing you in the lasting love.
