Donna Lee LEATHERS, 85, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Todd Holman officiating.
No public visitation is planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Fairfield Public Library. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Jerry LEATHERS, 611 Union St., Stockport 52651. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.
Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. LEATHERS was born July 23, 1931, in Van Wert, the daughter of Aaron and Lela LIPSETT LENHART. She married William LEATHERS Oct. 15, 1950, at Little Brown Church in Nashua. He died May 16 (sic - 15), 2004.
Mrs. LEATHERS worked in the recorder's office at the Medium Security Unit, Mt. Pleasant.
She was an avid Bible reader, loved gardening and baking. She had a smile for everybody and had a great sense of humor. She was a walking enthusiast at SunnyBrook. She looked forward to spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: two sons, David LEATHERS of Richland, and Jerry LEATHERS and wife Nancy of Stockport; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dolores COLLINS of Letts.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; one son, William LEATHERS Jr.; and one brother, John LENHART.

Donna Lee LEATHERS, 85, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center.
The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Todd Holman officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
A graveside service was originally planned Tuesday, but because of the weather, the family requested it be relocated to the funeral home.
