Vivian Leona KREISS, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at Great River Hospice House in Burlington (note: in Des Moines Co., IA).

Vivian Leona KREISS

Vivian Leona KREISS, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Farmington United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mary Hart officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Green Glade Cemetery in Farmington (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation for family and friends will be 3-7 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. KREISS was born April 21, 1932, in Fremont, the daughter of John H. and Elsie Luella TRIPLETT WESTERCAMP. She married Gary Lee KREISS March 14, 1954, in Farmington. He died Aug. 30, 2012.

Mrs. KREISS lived in the Fairfield area for 52 years. For many of those years, she and her husband owned and operated a grocery store in Stockport. She worked at various local businesses and was a life-long mother and housewife.

Some of her hobbies and interest (sic) included sewing, cooking, painting, flowers, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include: six children, Paul KREISS and wife Jo of Germantown, Maryland, Brad KREISS and wife Diana of Ainsworth, Dale KREISS and wife Cheryl of Tama, Troy KREISS of Edgington, Illinois, Lori FREESE and husband Eric of Lone Tree, and Kent KREISS and wife Kerry of West Burlington; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nine siblings, Velma CASTON, Audrey CASTON, Joyce KELLER, Charlie WESTERCAMP, LaVerne WESTERCAMP, Marvin WESTERCAMP, Rex WESTERCAMP, Max WESTERCAMP and David WESTERCAMP.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; and one brother, Hubert WESTERCAMP.
