B. Joan LEE, 86, of Des Peres, Missouri, died early Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at her residence.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Nov. 28 at First United Methodist Church in Fairfield. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. A reception will be held at the church following the burial.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. LEE was born in Fairfield, daughter of Frank and Anna SIMMONS. She married Robert E. "Yogi" LEE Jan. 24, 1954. He died in January 1999.
She grew up in Fairfield. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church.
She completed her nursing training at St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Ottumwa in April 1951. She had a 45-year career as a registered nurse.
Mrs. LEE was a devoted care giver and a friend to all, always putting their needs before her own.
She was a devoted mother to Patrick Nellis LEE of St. Charles, Missouri, James William LEE of St. Louis, Missouri. and Melinda Anne LEE WILLIAMS of Cedar Rapids. She also was a grandmother and great-grandmother of five.
She was preceded in death by her eight older siblings.
