Lorena M. Davisson, 84, of Milton died at 5:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the new Pedrick Funeral Home on Highway 1 north of Keosauqua, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery in Batavia.

Open visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with family present from 7-8 p.m.

Memorials can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 109 West Pine St., Milton 52570.

Mrs. Davisson was born Nov. 3, 1920, in Wapello County, the daughter of Forest and Ruth Schaff Welch. She married Everett Day. They divorced. She married Carrell L. Davisson June 17, 1972, in Rock Island, Ill. He died Feb. 17, 2002.

After residing in Batavia, Davenport and Fairfield, she moved to Milton in 1984. She entered Van Buren Good Samaritan Center October, 2004.

She had been employed by Country Kitchen in Davenport and Universal Producing Co.

Survivors include four sons, Harry Day of Bluegrass, George Day and Forest Day, both of Davenport, and Robert Day of Milton; two daughters, Mary Downey of Mount Sterling and Marcia Wilcoxon of Milton; two stepchildren, Larry Davisson and Carolyn Davisson, both of California; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Welch of Davenport; and three sisters, Marjorie Mardock of Spirit Lake, Twyla Tish of Missouri and Anna Marie Gladfelder of East Moline, Ill.

She was preceded in death by one son, Arnold Day; and one sister, Elsie Oates.
