Olive HALL, 88, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Behner Funeral Home is helping the family with arrangements.

Jane HALL

Jane HALL, 88, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at the Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Richland Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tim Schoepf officiating. Following the service, the burial will be at the Hill Crest (sic - Hillcrest) Cemetery in Brighton (note: in Washington Co., IA).

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Iowa or Lou Gehrig's Disease of Iowa. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.

Mrs. HALL was born Feb. 2, 1928, in Little York, Illinois, the daughter of Earl and Josephine BENNETT. She married Freeman HALL March 8, 1947, in Monmouth, Illinois. He died May 22, 1997.

Before moving to Brighton in 1960, the HALLs lived in Roseville, Illinois. Mrs. HALL had many jobs in her lifetime, but the job she loved the most was taking care of her family and anyone who needed her.

She loved to crotchet (sic - crochet) and made afghans for her family and many others. She was an avid Hawkeye fan.

Survivors include: three daughters, Nancy NORTON of Green Valley, Arizona, Sally WARNER and husband Larry of Libertyville, Tamara HAMMES of Fairfield; and one son, Gregory HALL and wife Angie of Washington, Iowa,; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean CONARD of Monmouth, Illinois; and one brother, Larry BENNETT of Davenport.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; one sister; two brothers; one daughter, Peggy SOBASKI; and one son-in-law, Stephen NORTON.
