Paul Arthur FORBES, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha (note: in Linn Co., IA).
A celebration of life was held Friday at Vito's in Cedar Rapids following visitation earlier that evening at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories Stateroom, also in Cedar Rapids.
Mr. FORBES was born Dec. 6, 1953, in Fairfield, the son of Lester and Louise PECK FORBES.
He graduated from St. Ambrose University with a Bachelor degree in economics.
Mr. FORBES worked for Hewlett Packard for many years as a technical analyst.
He loved spending time in his wildflower garden and studying his family genealogy. He was an avid Hawkeye football fan. He loved to travel and capture the world through photography.
Survivors include: two daughters, Chelsea ARCHIBALD with husband Rob, and Cassi FORBES; three granddaughters; his mother; seven siblings, Eileen FORBES, Mary Ellen FORBES, Doug FORBES, Steve FORBES, Rich FORBES, John FORBES and Angela BUSSEY.
He was preceded in death by his father.
