Marcia Whitmore-Ball, 56, of Hawthorne, Calif., and formerly of Batavia, died Friday, June 10, 2004, in Hawthorne.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Kremer Funeral Chapel in Batavia, with the Rev. Darwin Eckley officiating. A graveside service was held in Inglewood, Calif.

Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society.

She was born Nov. 9, 1947, in Batavia, the daughter of Ralph and Frances Six Whitmore. She married Bob Ball.

Survivors include her husband; her mother of Downey, Calif.; two brothers, Larry Whitmore of Eldon and Robert Whitmore of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one sister, Peggy Brown of Palm Desert, Calif.
