Rites Today For Frank E. BRUEY

Last rites were held at 2 p.m. today for Frank Edward BRUEY, native of Jefferson county who died Saturday at 11:36 a.m. at the Jefferson County hospital.

The services today were held at the Weston Behner funeral home with Edward Esler in charge. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

BRUEY had been in failing health the past six months and seriously ill the past several days. He entered the hospital on Nov. 1, 1965.

Frank Edward BRUEY, 80, was born Aug. 21, 1885, in Jefferson county, the son of Richard and Mary ORIES BRUEY. He had lived in this community all of his life. The family home is at 50 W. Adams.

He was married to Maggie Irene CROWNER on Dec. 19, 1906. She survives. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Fairfield the past several years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by the following children: Fern Irene BURK, Libertyville; Juanita JAMES, Lancaster, Calif.; and Richard W. BRUEY, Fairfield. Other survivors include nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

BRUEY was preceded in death by one sister, one grandson and one great grandson.
