Louise DAILEY, age 98 of Fairfield, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 morning at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Funeral services are pending at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Louise DAILEY

Louise DAILEY, age 98, of Fairfield and formerly of Batavia, died Thursday morning at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22 at the First Christian Church in Fairfield with Pastor Diane Brokken officiating. Burial will be in the Batavia Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to Parkview Care Center Activity Fund or to the First Christian Church.

Louise was born Oct. 22, 1917 at Batavia, the daughter of Carl O. and Sarah Jane McDOWELL BLACK. She was raised in the Batavia community and attended Hickory Ridge school.

Louise married Ralph B. DAILEY on April 19, 1936 in Ottumwa. He preceded her in death in 1970.

She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband. She moved from the farm in 1982 to Fairfield. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fairfield, C.W.F. and the Countyline Club.

Deceased family members include her husband, her parents, two sisters, Edith DAVIS and Florence BOCKEMUEHL, and one brother, Kermit BLACK.

Surviving are her daughter and daughter's husband Marilyn and James TAYLOR of Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews.
