Roger REID, 63, of Stockport, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at his home.
Behner Funeral Home is helping the family with arrangements.

Roger Calvin REID, 63 of Stockport, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at his home after battling cancer for two years.
Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials can be made to Van Buren County Nursing or Hospice of Central Iowa. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Rita REID, PO Box 162, Stockport 52651. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.
Mr. REID was born July 2, 1953, in Fairfield, the son of Carl E. and Merna K. FREE REID. He married Rita BARTHOLOMEW June 16, 1973, in Fairfield.
Mr. REID graduated from Fairfield High School in 1971.
He worked at Fairfield Castings LLC and The Dexter Company foundry as an inspector for 44 years before he retired.
He enjoyed playing cards, gambling, spending time with the people he worked with and his family and friends.
Survivors include: wife, Rita REID of Stockport; one son, Sean REID and wife Sherry of Stockport; two grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra RINEHART of Albia and Marla MASKOBI of Texas; and one brother, Ronald REID of Wayland.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and one sister, Marcia.
