Bessie Thelma LAWSON, 90, of Fairfield, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at her home.
A graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Fell Cemetery in Libertyville, with the Rev. John Kermott officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5-6 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. LAWSON was born July 15, 1926, in Putman County, Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Laura MITCHELL HALL. She married Edwin C. LAWSON Dec. 20, 1947. He died May 11, 2000.
Mrs. LAWSON lived in Fairfield all her life.
She was a homemaker. She spent many hours working in the garden and canning the produce. She also enjoyed sewing.
Mrs. LAWSON worked many hours volunteering with the Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include: one son, David LAWSON and wife Sharon of Wapello; one daughter, Carol SUTTON of Fairfield; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; one daughter, Ann; one son, Carl; three sisters, Thelma, Minerva and Anne; and three brothers, Eldon, Woodrow and Munroe.
