Deloris Elaine SAUER

Deloris Elaine SAUER, 87, of Hedrick, died at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Steve Burns officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation began at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home; the family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

Memorials can be made to Good Samaritan Society-Ottumwa Hospice.

Mrs. SAUER was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Winfield, the daughter of Elmer and Frances YOUNG BURNS. She married Arlo L. SAUER Feb. 3, 1946. He died Dec. 13, 2009.

Mrs. SAUER and her husband farmed north of Farson, retiring in 1987.

She was a member of Farson Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her children, John SAUER of Marion, Wanda BAGBY of Fairfield and Andy SAUER of Hedrick; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Floyd BURNS of Fairfield, Delbert BURNS of Ottumwa, Raymond BURNS of Moulton, Robert BURNS also of Moulton, Ardythe GRAY of Ottumwa, Colleen CROW of Cedar Rapids and Loretta CROW of Pontiac, Michigan.
