Peggy Ann SCOTT, 74, of Tonto Basin, Arizona, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley in Gilbert, Arizona.
A celebration of life was held June 11 at her son's ranch in Franktown, Colorado.
Mrs. SCOTT was born Sept. 6, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harold and Elsie WISECARVER. She married John SCOTT in March 1963 in Fairfield.
Her family moved to Fairfield when she was a young girl. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1960, then attended Parsons College.
She was a baton twirling champion. She loved to fish, play pool, and she loved music. In retirement, she reconnected with an old friend from her school days, Steve Jenkins. They enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking, and experiencing the great Southwest together.
Survivors include: one son, John SCOTT Jr. with Sabrina MAIDEN of Franktown, Colorado; one daughter, Lorie JOHNSON of Fairfield; two grandchildren; two great-grandsons; siblings, Harold WISECARVER of Libertyville, Karen CUNNINGHAM of Jefferson, Valerie BUSSEY of Spotsylvania, Virginia, and Renee ZIMMERMAN of Bettendorf; and special friend, Steve Jenkins.
Mrs. SCOTT was preceded in death by her parents.
