Edwin J. BREEDING

Edwin J. BREEDING, 54, of Ottumwa, died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at his home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Tom Shipley officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Friday, with the family present 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to the family.

Mr. BREEDING was born Nov. 28, 1961, in Ottumwa, the son of Robert and Shirley E. MOFFATT BREEDING. He married Pamela GORDEN July 7, 2007.

A graduate of Ottumwa High School, he attended Local No. 33 Steamfitter Trade School. He had worked 13 years for Wingers, and was presently employed at the American Ordnance Ammunition Plant in Burlington.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batavia and of ABATE.

Survivors include: his wife, Pam four children, Chrissy HOFSTETTER, Matt BREEDING, Trent BREEDING and Tyler BREEDING; four stepchildren, Staci MURPHY, Emily BOYD, William McCARROLL, Dalton McCARROLL; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, John BREEDING and Paul KROG.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and one brother, Jim BREEDING.
