M. BOYSEL rites at Batavia

BATAVIA - Mamie G. BOYSEL, 89, Batavia, died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. today in Batavia Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Kermit Black. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. BOYSEL was born Jan. 13, 1898 at Floris, the daughter of John and Caroline HAGERTY HALE. She spent most of her life in the Floris and Batavia communities. She worked at the Ottumwa Hospital from 1949 to 1959. On Aug. 29, 1929, she married Al BOYSEL, who died in 1946.

Surviving are a son, Byron of Des Moines, four grandchildren, a great-grandson and a sister, Ruth BOYSEL of Ottumwa.
