JoAnn DAVIDSON

BIRMINGHAM - JoAnn DAVIDSON, age 84, of Birmingham, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Sunnybrook Living Care Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 prior to the service at Behner Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Iowa (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Memorials can be made to Noah's Arc (sic - Ark) or Birmingham Fire Department. Cards and memorials can be mailed to: 530 East Cedar, Birmingham, Iowa 52535.

JoAnn DAVIDSON was born June 24, 1931 in Fairfield to Dale and Lucille (DAVIDSON) COX. She married Everett DAVIDSON June 26, 1948 in Fairfield.

JoAnn wan an Avon representative and worked at McCoy Insurance in Keosauqua for 22 years before she retired. Some of JoAnn's interests were to watch basketball and baseball on TV, camping, fishing, mushroom hunting and traveling. She enjoyed caring for babies. Most important to JoAnn was going ot her kids' and grandkids' school activities.

JoAnn is survived by her husband, Everett DAVIDSON of Birmingham, Iowa; three daughters, Karen (LeShun) TAYLOR of Fairfield, Vickie (Richard) WAHL and Pam (John) BARNETT both of Birmingham, Iowa; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two step grandsons.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Lucille COX; and her son, Steven Allen DAVIDSON at infancy.
