Mrs. Elizabeth G. WHALER, 74, 401 No. Court St., died Friday at 10:40 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. In failing health for several months, she entered the hospital Thursday.
Last rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John R. Dilley officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at West View Cemetery in Atlanta, Ga. The Patterson and Son Funeral Home will be in charge.
Mrs. WHALTER (err) was born May 1, 1899 in Red Bank, N.J., the daughter of Harry and Emma PATTERSON MORFORD. She was reared and educated in New Jersey. She was married to Charles E. WHALER in New York, N.Y. He died Nov. 7, 1945.
Mrs. WHALER was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. She resided in Philadelphia and Atlanta before moving to Fairfield in 1949.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Steward C. GAUMER, Fairfield; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased.
