Pauline L. RODGERS, 93, of Fairfield died this morning, Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Arrangements are pending at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Pauline L. RODGERS

Pauline L. RODGERS, 93, of Fairfield, died Wednesday morning, April 6, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be at a later date. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Memorials can be made to American Cancer Association. Online condolences can be made at www.raymondfuneralhomes.com.

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. RODGERS was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harry A. and Lela Irene POTTORFF QUIGLEY. She married Merlyn B. "Gundy" RODGERS Oct. 18, 1940, in Kirksville, Missouri.

Mrs. RODGERS worked at Louden Machinery Company in accounts payable for 32 years from Jan. 18, 1960, until she retired July 30, 1992.

She did volunteer work, serving as coordinator for The Lord's Cupboard for 26 years. She was secretary of the Louden Depot Credit Union for 21 years, secretary for the South Central Iowa Chapter of Credit Unions for six years. She also worked at the Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary Bargain Box and Gift Shop and was a member of the Heritage Club.

Mrs. RODGERS was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include: three sons, Shan RODGERS and wife Rosalie of Ottumwa, Jed RODGERS and wife Susan of Medimont, Idaho, and Lex RODGERS of Showlow, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; one brother, Max QUIGLEY of Grandview; and two sisters, Shirley TOMFELD of Letts and Sandy DAVIS of Mt. Pleasant.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; one granddaughter; one sister, Velma TISOR; and one brother, Charles QUIGLEY.
