Roger Eugene STANTON

Roger Eugene STANTON passed away at a friends house in Petaluma, CA. on March 2, 2016, at the age of 74 years young. Preceded in death by his son John Paul STANTON and survived by his children: Scott Eugene STANTON, Alexsis Dawn STANTON-BRUNSON, and Kimberlie Ann STANTON-LEEDS and her husband Gregory Allen LEEDS; Grandchildren: Jessica Lynn POTSANDER, Cameron Malakiah SALES, and Mason Michael HAYNES.

Roger was born in Waterloo, IA on July 14, 1941, and migrated to California in 1958 where he settled. He was married to Elizabeth Jean HARPER and later to Darlene Sonia STANTON.

Roger had a successful career as a building inspector with the Phillips Group, and was a talented carpenter, artist, and in his retirement was a master gardener and lover of bamboo.

Roger was surrounded by family and friends and was blessed to have been comfortable up until his death. He was deeply loved by those who knew him and will be always remembered as a great man and will be fondly missed.
