Shifley June SCHULTZ, 81, of Hiawatha, died Friday, March 11, 2016, at Hiawatha Care Center (note: in Linn Co., IA).
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ss. Joseph and Cabrini Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be 11:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.

Mrs. SCHULTZ was born July 21, 1934, in West Liberty, the daughter of Stanford and Grace FERGUSON GREGORY. She married George Ralph SCHULTZ Feb. 12, 1955, in Tipton.
She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Iowa City. She worked for 40 years as a registered nurse at Jefferson County Hospital and Jefferson County Public Health, retiring in 1999.
She was a devoted farmer's wife providing love to her husband, family and friends. She believed in supporting education for all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, and traveling.
Survivors include: seven children, Marian MILENDER and husband Leonard of Fairfield, stephen and wife Janet of Grimes, Audrey SHELLER and husband Joseph of Cedar Rapids, Christoper and wife Dawn of St. Petersburg, Florida, Douglas and wife Kris of Fairfield, Paule CHICOINE and husband David of Elk Horn, Nebraska, and Michelle SCHROUD and husband Darren of Cedar Rapids; daughter-in-law Susan SCHULTZ POOLE of Jacksonville, Florida; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one brother, Robert GREGORY of Tipton.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; son Michael; one granddaughter; one daughter-in-law, Marianna; her parents; and five siblings, Marguerite COLLISON, Edith WALTERS, Stanley GREGORY, Mary HADLEY, and Albert GREGORY.
