Esther Mae LANCASTER

Esther Mae LANCASTER, 79, of Mesa, Arizona, died Jan. 17, 2016.

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at Bunker's University Chapel in Mesa, Arizona.

Esther Mae BOYER LANCASTER, was born Feb. 10, 1936, in Van Buren County. She married Ray LANCASTER in May of 1958.

Mrs. LANCASTER grew up on the family farm west of Keosauqua. She also had resided in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Marion.

She worked at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids for 28 years.

Survivors include: her husband Ray LANCASTER of Mesa, Arizona; two sons: Jerry of Cleremont, Georgia, and Dennis of Mesa, Arizona; one daughter, Kathy LOCKHART, also of Mesa, Arizona; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wilma McVEY and Irene STAGERS, both of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and five siblings.
