Leona P. Polly Morris, 73, a resident of Parkview Care Center, died at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at the care center.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Mercer, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to the Progressive Subnuclear Palsy Society.

Mrs. Morris was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Mercer, the daughter of Homer Eldon and Bertha Cox Donelson. She married Harvey R. Morris March 6, 1949, in Scott County. He died in 2001.

She was a Davenport resident, and retired from Davenport Medical Center.

She was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren in Udell.

Survivors include four daughters, Janice Ornduff and husband Kenny of Birmingham, Elaine Murphy of Phillipston, Mass.; Susan Dickinson and husband Jeff of Brighton and Wendy Van Ee and husband Joel of Sigourney; two sons, Bruce Morris and wife Denise of Davenport and Allen Morris and wife Lori of Batavia, 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Vi Austin of Princeton, Mo., Evelyn Veets of Gulfport, Ill., Pink Brown of Davenport and Shirley Erving of Silver City; and four brothers, Dean, Walker, Jim and Jack Donelson, all of Davenport.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Chester Glen Donelson and Billy Joe Donelson and infants Herbert Hadley Donelson and Larry Max Donelson.
