M.W. Bud Stewart, 69, of 325 Shady Drive, Boiling Springs, S.C. died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, S.C. Born May 18, 1935, in Fairfield, IA, he was the son of the late Merle E. and Margaret Webb Stewart.

He was employed with Carolina Express as a courier driver.

Survivors include his wife, Jean S. Stewart of the home; two sons, Steve Stewart and his wife Brenda and Matt Stewart and his wife Kelly, all of Spartanburg, S.C.; a daughter, Margaret Stephens and her husband Geoff of Campobello, SC; a sister, Justine Jahp and her husband Cliff of Yorkville, IL; a granddaughter, Brittany Brock of Spartanburg, S.C.; and two grandsons, Matthew Stewart of Spartanburg, S.C., and Hunter Stephens of Campobello, S.C.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at Floyds Boiling Springs Chapel.

Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Human Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

The family is at the home.
