Nellie Maxine KLEIN, 88, of Fairfield, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Todd Holman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. KLEIN was born July 29, 1927, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Earl and Clara PICKFORD BARNES. She married Everett KLEIN July 20, 1947. He died March 30, 2005.
Mrs. KLEIN worked as a clerk at Martin's Drugs and Inez Fashion Shop, both in Fairfield, and she was a cook at Fairfield Middle School before she retired.
She was a member of Tri T and Fairfield Booster Club. She and her husband were honored as Mr. & Mrs. Trojan.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. KLEIN liked to bake cookies and candies.
Survivors include: her two children, Scott KLEIN and wife Peggy of Minnetonka, Minnesota, and Kay KLEIN of North Liberty; three grandchildren; and one sister, LuAnn "Stubby" KLEIN of Fairfield.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Gene, Dale "Butch," and Harold; and sister, Eleanor.
