Ronald "Linus" Kenneth YOUNG, 64, of Eldon, died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Sioc Cemetery near Eldon (note: in Wapello Co., IA).
Visitation, with the family present, will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Kremer Funeral Home in Eldon.

Mr. YOUNG, as born Oct. 26, 1950, in Ottumwa, the son of Richard and Donna FISHBURNE YOUNG. He married Julie CHICKERING Feb. 29, 1984. They divorced.
Mr. YOUNG attended and graduated from Ottumwa High School. He attended Indian Hills Community College and worked in the Ottumwa area.
In March 1970, he joined the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged Oct. 26, 1971, and returned home where he worked for the Northern Railroad.
Mr. YOUNG spent many years working for the Local Laborers Union 566 as an industrial carpenter. He also worked at Chommy's in Eldon.
He enjoyed mushroom hunting, tending to his garden, helping his farming friends, spending time on the river and watching Bears games.
Survivors include: one daughter, Shawntell YOUNG and her mother Julie YOUNG, of Eldon; and one brother, Dave YOUNG of Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and two siblings, Marla and Mark YOUNG.
