Susan ARNOLD

Susan ARNOLD of Fairfield died Monday afternoon, Sept. 21, 2015, after a long illness.

The body was cremated. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield assisted with arrangements.

Susan INGLIS SPICER was born in June 1939 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Robert William SPICER and Carolyn INGLIS SPICER.

She attended the University of Michigan at Kalamazoo, and trained as a teacher.

She came to Fairfield in 1984 in order to join others at Maharishi International University, now Maharishi University of Management, to further her own growth, and to allow her son, Jim, to attended Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment here.

She was interested in literature, design, gardening and investment. She was a modest person, with a dry sense of humor and a dedication to truth.

Survivors include: one son, Jim and wife April, and three granddaughters, all of Traverse City, Michigan.
