Connie Sue SCOTT

Connie Sue SCOTT, 56, of Keokuk, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at Keokuk Area Hospital.

A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rock Christian Fellowship in Oskaloosa, with the Rev. Paul Williams officiating.

No visitation is planned. Ms. SCOTT's wishes were for her body to be cremated.

DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. SCOTT was born Dec. 20, 1958, in Warrensburg, Missouri, the daughter of Phillip Lawrence Jr. and Joyce Joann SOPHER LUCAS. She married Alan NICHOLS in 1976.

Mrs. SCOTT lived in Burlington before moving to Keokuk in 2014.

She enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles and crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include: two sons, Alan NICHOLS Jr. of Denver, Colorado, and Jason NICHOLS of Keokuk; one daughter, Jennifer GANTZ of Burlington; seven grandchildren; three sisters: Rose WEEKS of Fairfield, Phyllis WHARTON of Fremont and Cindy WILLIAMS of Oskaloosa; and two brothers, Keith LUCAS of Portales, New Mexico, and Gary ROSS Jr. of Iron River, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by: by her mother (sic), Joyce Joann ROSS; and two sons, Andrew Keith NICHOLS and Brian Ellis NICHOLS.
