James R. KELLER

James R. KELLER, 57, of Bloomfield, died at 2:52 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield after a long battle with cancer.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Lee McIntosh officiating. Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation, with family present, will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service.

Memorials to the family to assist with final expenses can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 16979 Umber Ave., Bloomfield 52537.

Mr. KELLER was born May 17, 1958, in Keosauqua, the son of Robert A. and Ruth STEGELMAN KELLER. He had been married to and divorced from Bonnie BERTRAM and Becky BARKER. He later married Rita PICKEN.

Mr. KELLER graduated from Van Buren High School in 1976. He was a heavy equipment operator for Cressford Construction Co. in Donnellson, worked as a telemarketer for the Iowa Policeman's Association in Des Moines and most recently managed the garden center at Shopko in Bloomfield.

He was a member of Keosauqua Christian Church.

Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Dylan KELLER and wife Emily of Bloomfield and Elijah KELLER and wife Brittany of Fairfield; one daughter, Alyssa REED and husband Chris of New London; two step-daughters; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, John KELLER of Keosauqua and Charles KELLER of Cedar Rapids; and one sister, Lori KESSSEL (sic - KESSEL?) of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
