Agnes CARROLL, 80, of Fairfield, died today, Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is helping the family with arrangements.

Agnes V. CARROLL

Agnes V. CARROLL, 80, of Fairfield, died, Friday. Aug. 7, 2015, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Len Maselli officiating. Burial will follow.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. CARROLL was born March 4, 1935, in Morris, the daughter of Ralph and Stella DEVRIES HIEMSTRA.

She was raised in California. She moved to Fairfield in 2000.

She enjoyed sewing, jigsaw puzzles, word searches and collecting hummingbirds and bells. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family.

Survivors include: her five children, Vivian O'CARROLL of Fairfield, Florence CARROLL of Fairfield, Janice BUTNER of Douds, Fred O'CARROLL of Packwood and Lilliea BROOKMAN of Fairfield; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Nate HIEMSTRA and Ralph HIEMSTRA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Stella HIEMSTRA; three brothers, Frances, Doug and Curt JAGER; and one sister, Marlys JAGER.
