Wendy Ann Lane LITTRELL

Wendy Ann Lane LITTRELL, age 24 of Fairfield, IA passed away on July 8th 2015 in Washington County Iowa in an automobile accident.

Celebration of life services will be held in Fairfield, Iowa on July 12th, 2015 at Jefferson County Park at 2:00PM for friends with loved ones, offering prayers and memories. Viewing will be held during the celebration.

Wendy was born in Des Moines, Iowa, to Johnathan (Rusty) LITTRELL and Bridgette GRIJALVA on August 10th 1990.

Wendy graduated from Mt. Pleasant Community High School in 2008.

Wendy enjoyed traveling the Country, learning about culture, experiencing new opportunities, and being with her loved ones.

Wendy is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather David JERREL of Fairfield, IA, maternal grandmother Patsy GREEN of Alabama and kinship grandparents Ronald and Ann ELMORE.

Wendy is survived by her mother in Fairfield, her father in Des Moines, sister's (sic) Jessica (Tommy) CARTER of Des Moines, IA, Stephanie (Corbin) MILLARD of Birmingham, IA, Sophia GRIJALVA of Packwood, IA, and brothers Nathan LITTRELL and Alex JERREL-CONRAD of Fairfield, IA. Her niece and nephew Shania and Tommy CARTER of Des Moines, IA, nephews Kinnick & Nash MILLARD of Birmingham, IA. Her uncle and aunt (caretakers) Terry and Kimberly JERREL of Mt. Pleasant, IA, cousins/brothers Nicholas (Kelsey) JERREL of Savannah, GA, Joshua, Samuel, and Isaac JERREL of Mt. Pleasant, IA, nieces Brooklyn, Katie Sue, Madilyn JERREL.

Fairfield woman killed in crash

AINSWORTH (GTNS) -- A single car rollover accident on Highway 218 just off G36, north of Washington at about 6 a.m. Wednesday resulted in a fatality.

Wendy Ann Lane LITTRELL, 24, of Fairfield, was thrown from the vehicle she was traveling in, which was driven by Jorge Paul Noivo of San Francisco.

According to the report, Noivo's vehicle was southbound when he lost control of the vehicle, then attempted to regain control and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll. The vehicle crossed over the southbound lane and came to rest in the west ditch.

LITTRELL was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

The investigation continues. Ainsworth Fire and Rescue and the Washington County Sheriff's Office assisted the Iowa State Patrol at the scene.
